How WhatIf Calc handles app, website, support, and technical data.
Last updated June 23, 2026
What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to the WhatIf Calc Android app and the website at whatifcalc.com.
WhatIf Calc is an educational historical scenario tool. It does not require account creation in the current release.
Information the app uses
The app uses the symbol, date, amount, and calculation settings you enter to show historical what-if estimates. These inputs are used to request market data and perform calculations.
The app stores some settings and cached glossary content locally on your device so the app can work faster and show educational content when offline.
Technical data
When the app or website contacts our service, trusted service partners may process routine technical data such as IP address, request path, timestamp, browser or device information, and error information.
Market data requests may include ticker symbols and date ranges. These requests are used to provide historical price data and maintain service reliability.
Sponsors and external links
The app may show sponsor messages. If you open a sponsor link or an external source link, the destination website may receive information from your browser or device under its own privacy practices.
WhatIf Calc is not responsible for third-party websites, market data services, app stores, or payment services.
How we use information
We use app inputs and technical data to provide market-data responses, display educational content, troubleshoot issues, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.
We do not sell personal information.
